It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Ohmann (Melrose, Minnesota), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jackie Ohmann; her daughter Kate; her parents, Leo Schwieters and Carrie Schwieters; her parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Ohmann; and her siblings, Herbert, Anthony, Loretta Meyer, Dolores Wehlage, Sally Uphoff and Jeanette Barten.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Mercer (Paul) of Long Lake, MN, Pat Milbrett (Bruce) of Forest Lake, MN, John (Pam) of Wasilla, AK, Susan Keen of Annandale, VA, Lisa Krause (Joseph) of Corvallis, OR, Laurie Schley (Doug) of Mounds View, MN, Steven (Lisa) of Ham Lake, MN, Michael of Lino Lakes, MN, Tina Rowe (Angus) of Zagreb and Sarah Sommers (Graham Leonard) of Reno, NV.; her sister Joan Ehresmann (Jerry); and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Ohmann, Janet Haas (John) and Daniel Ohmann. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be sent to St. John's - St. Andrew's School in Greenwald to continue her legacy of supporting primary education.
