Arlene Pflipsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024, at the age of 88, Arlene Pflipsen of Melrose, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Moening and Zita Moening (Herzog); her husband Charles "Charlie" Pflipsen of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Kenneth, Ernest Moening and Mary Sunderman; and her siblings-in-law, James "Jim" Matchinsky, Ronald Brinkman, Harold "Harry" Sunderman, Arlene Moening and Geri Moening.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Paulson (John) of Lino Lakes, Paul Pflipsen (Cynthia) of Fargo and Jim Pflipsen (Karen) of Big Lake; and her sisters, LeEtta Benolken (Dolan), LouAnn Brinkman, Roselyn Matchinsky, Barbara Piper (Robert) and Debra Burg (Tom). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (755 E Kraft Dr, Melrose, MN 56352). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
