It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Meemken of Melrose, Minnesota, born in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Meemken and Mary Meemken (Frings); his daughter Sharon Meyer; his great grandchild Liam Johnson; and his siblings, Marcus, Sylvester, Cyril, Delbert, Vern, Milton, Henry Jr. and Mary Lou Buersken Hobson.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Meemken of Melrose; his children, Gene Meemken of Albany, Bernice Gruber (Dennis) of Lake Henry, Rich Meemken of Burtrum and Marlene Schreifels (Tom) of Albany; his son-in-law Roger Meyer of Melrose; and his brother-in-law Robert Hobson of Hillman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
