He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Bauer and Cecelia Bauer (Stern); and his brother Kenneth Bauer. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Hallermann; his children, Vicky Doetkott (Chad) of Grey Eagle, Jason Bauer (Kim) of Melrose, Sara Sand (Corey) of Melrose, Kevin Bauer (Mindy) of Melrose and Kurt Bauer (Jean) of Villard; his grandchildren, Jordan, Erika, Olivia, Bryant, Nolan, Devin, Isaac, Kaylee, JaLynn, Ava and Kaden; his great grandchild Brooks; and his siblings, Ervin, Jr. Bauer (Cecilia) of Melrose, Joann Gerads of Freeport and Sylvester "Butch" Bauer (Kathy) of Melrose. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
