He was predeceased by: his father Andres; and his son-in-law Brad. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Winter; his children, Missy Winter of Farmington, MN and Jason Medford (Joellen); his grandchildren, Anthony Hedberg (Jess) of Oklahoma, Meranda Hedberg of Bloomington, MN, Elizabeth Winter and Medford; his great grandchild Wyatt Hedberg of Meriden, MN.; his siblings, Vince Hunt (Donna) and Sherry Hofius (Gene) of Mazeppa, MN; his nephews, Karl Hunt (Tif), Dan Hofius (Val) and Mark Hofius; and his niece Jennifer Fedder (Brandon).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Medford (102 3rd St SW, Medford, MN 55049).
