Houglum (Medford, Minnesota), born in Bejou, Minnesota, who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hornstein and Inga Hornstein (Svenby); her husband Norman Houglum; her siblings, Harold Hornstein, Florence Reese and Gladys Thurnau; her son-in-law Greg Peterson; and her brothers-in-law, Roger Reese, Dick Thurnau and George Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Houglum (Pat) of Mason City, IA and Diane Houglum; her granddaughters, Jill, Gina, Michelle (Matt) and Tiffany (Mike); her great grandchildren, Noah, Kortney, Emma, Maggie, Maveda and Hudson; her siblings, Floyd Hornstein (Charlene) of Owatonna, Dorothy Hale (Glen) of Owatonna and Alice Simon of Owatonna; her sister-in-law Carol Hornstein; and her pet Tammy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford, Homestead Hospice House or donor's choice.
