It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Lynn Owens (Medford, Minnesota), who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Malvin Jacobson and Ruth Jacobson; her sister Dee; and her brothers-in-law, Dave Hanson and Jack Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill (Dick Strodtman) and Angela (Jesse Fredrickson); her husband Vern Owens; her stepdaughter Annette (Curt Hanson); her grandchildren, Madison (Nick), Abby, Brady, Bersi, Rune, Colin, Shannon and Brennan (Katelyn); and her sister Jan Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (102 3rd St SW, Medford, MN 55049). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
