She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Sam and Alma Sam (Abbe); her husband David Nicolai; her siblings, Bernard Sam (Delores) and Verna Peach; and her sister-in-law Ruth Sam.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Carol), Debra, Dorlyn (Stephen), Daniel (Char) and Darcy (Jerry); her grandchildren, Jon, Megan, Leah, Andy, Adam, Rudy, Cassidy and Samantha; and her brother Dale Sam. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boldt Funeral Home (300 Prairie Ave SW, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
