With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Lee Kappedal of McIntosh, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Berendt Sr. Kappedal and Earla Mae Kappedal (Palmer); his brothers, Gary and Patrick; his daughter-in-law Teresa Kappedal; and his siblings-in-law, Ray, Diane and Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Onsager; his children, Darren Kappedal (Karen), Brenda Knable (Ron), Debbie Manecke (Mike) and Ricky Kappedal; his grandchildren, Melissa (Kurt), Kyle (Daytona), Paul (Mandy), Morgan, Trista (Brandon), Blake (Emily), Alyssa (Jamin), Kayla (Lee), Jenna (Nolan), Andrew (Brittany) and Amber (Derrick); and his siblings, Berendt Jr. Kappedal, Carl Kappedal (Anita) and Jo Ann Aiken. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley (407 Getchell Ave NE, Bagley, MN 56621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Lengby Village Cemetery (450th St SE, Lengby, MN 56651).
