The memory of Perry Grundyson of McIntosh, Minnesota, born in Fosston, Minnesota, who passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 58, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his mother Delores Grundyson (Rud); his grandparents, Edwin, Rebecca Rud, Olaf and Amalia Grundyson; his uncle Orvin Grundyson; his aunts, Adeline Grundyson and Harriet Hudrlik; and his father-in-law Harvey Sonnenberg.
He is survived by: his father Melford Grundyson; his wife Renee; his sister Melanie Olinger (Mark); his niece Melissa Skaalerud (Jon); his great-niece Scarlett Skaalerud; his great-nephew Stellan Skaalerud; his mother-in-law Irma Sonnenberg; his brothers-in-law, Bucky Sonnenberg (Julie) and Brandon Sonnenberg (Kayla); his niece Braylen Sonnenberg; his nephew Caleb Sonnenberg; and his uncle Erwin Rud. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (200 W Main St, Vergas, MN 56587). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Perry's family would appreciate donations be made to Hospice of the Red River Valley or the Roger Maris Cancer Center, Fargo, ND.
