He is survived by: his wife Mary Frethem of McIntosh; his daughters, Leah Mahlen (Jay) of Erskine, Jill Hewitt (Ben Schmidt) of Breezy Point, MN and Amie Erickson (Dave) of Hawley, MN; his grandchildren, Tavin Hewitt, Tyus Mahlen, Raiden Hewitt, Josiah Erickson, Treyton Mahlen and Mara Erickson; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Salvhus of McIntosh, Lori Salvhus of Ada, MN and Glen Brua of McIntosh. He is also survived by mentor to his children and grandchildren.
