He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Gunderson and Mary Gunderson (Uhlir); his daughter-in-law Anne Gunderson; and his sisters, Marion Tangen, Verna Kock, Adele Stenmoen, Arlene Gunderson and Lorraine Hilliard.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lemke of McIntosh; his children, Jeff (Jill) of Rice, MN, Rod (Darlene) of Pinewood, MN, Brenda Vettleson (Michael) of Roseau, MN, Bruce of McIntosh and Mark (Denise Henderson) of McIntosh; and his sister Elaine Cole of Blaine, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
