He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Dybdahl and Gyda Dybdahl; his son James Dybdahl; his great grandchild Molly Nielsen; and his siblings, Rolland, Jerome, Myron, Ralph and Avis Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul "Wally" Dybdahl (Barb Powell), Dawn Wichern (John) and Diane Hansen; his grandchildren, Janel Dressen, Tony Dybdahl (Shallyn), Kelly Dybdahl (Kim), Rachel Schmidt (Mike), Dillon Hansen (Tami), Chris Hansen, Carter Hansen (Coral), Gina Wilhm, Tessa Bloom (John), Chelsea Grooters (Justin) and Dayna Nielsen (Tyson); and his sister Ila Blanchard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
