We bid farewell to Frank Alva Irwin of Mazeppa, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Frank Alva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Irwin and Louise Landsrud (Young); his siblings, Jack, Gene, Glenn, Butch, Mary Anne, Myra and Nancy; and his grandson Mikal Tri.
He is survived by: his wife Lenora; his daughters, Mary Knish (Robert) and Susan Christiansen; his grandchildren, Kimberly Dozark (Cory), Teresa Nelson (Jason), Jeremy Tri, Amy Josselyn (Chris), Brian Tri and Dennis Tri (Cassandra); his stepgrandchildren, Valerie Knish, Brandon Knish and Breanna Knish; and his sister Angie Irwin (Fluffy). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church (222 1st Ave S, Mazeppa, MN 55956).
