It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Michael Matthees of Mazeppa, Minnesota, born in Zumbrota, Minnesota, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Matthees and Frieda Matthees (Schultz). He is survived by: his wife Diane Matthees of Mazeppa; his sons, Jeffrey Matthees (Michelle) of Goodhue, Matthew Matthees (Desiree) of Mazeppa and Chad Matthees (Blaire) of Albert Lea; his grandchildren, Levi, Jacob, Lydia and Clay; and his siblings, Gary Matthees (Kathy) of Plover, WI, Dale Matthees (Jeri Petree) of Goodhue, Keith Matthees (Diane) of Mazeppa and Marla Lodermeier (Steve) of Zumbrota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to an organization of the donor's choice.
