He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Pollock; his friend Patty; his wife Patty Rand of Maynard; his children, Mandy Schoborg (Kyle) of St. Joseph, Derek Rand of Maynard and Dalsie Rand of Maynard; his grandchildren, Audrina Knoop and Maverick Schoborg; his brother Robert Rand (Patsy) of Maynard; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rand of Maynard, Deb Peters (John) of Sioux Falls, Laurie Markley (Scott) of Sioux Falls, Lori Ann Pollock of Sioux Falls, SD and Debbie Roach (Jim) of Bakersfield, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Kristi Zemke (Tyler), Keith Rand (Sarah), Cassie Nielson (Andrew), Chad Rand, Cody Rand (Trista), Benu Peters, Jonah Peters, Steffan Peters, Skyler Peters, Alex Markley (Danielle), Ashley Markley, Sam Markley, Monica Stuedemann (Travis), Candice Roach, Vanessa Guerra (Matt) and Ryan Roach. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
