He is survived by: his son Doug Sammons (Mary Herbert) of Groves, TX; his granddaughters, Melanie Kraemer (Andrew), Crystal Metivier (Matt) and Brittany Lawrence (Justin); his son Steve Sammons (Susie) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Joshua Sammons (Ashley), Michelle Jacobson (Jordan "JJ"), Jeremy Sammons and Rebecca Bottelberghe (Jacob); his daughter Diane Metcalfe (Wayne) of Prior Lake; his grandchildren, Morgan, Lukas and Madi Metcalfe; and his siblings, Dick Sammons (Wilma) of Berrien Springs, MI, Mary Ann Mentjes (Gary) of Lake Wales, FL and John Sammons (Pat) of Hastings, MN. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, step-siblings, relatives and friends.
