She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Begay and Romona Blue; her son Charles Howell; and her sisters, Dinah Begay-Anderson and Phyllis Shadle.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Howell; her children, Alena Eaton of Granite Falls, Alvin Howell (Megan) of Granite Falls, Herbert Howell of Granite Falls and Adrian Howell of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Arabella Howell, Emmanuel Boklep, Micah Branham, Charles Howell, Adrianna Howell, Klayton Miller and Alexis Howell; her great grandchild Sirius Esparza; her brother Timothy Blue of Granite Falls; her stepmother Sheila Begay of Granite Falls; and also Granite Falls. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
