He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Madetzke and Judith Madetzke; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Natwick and Dick Muchow. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Joan Madetzke (Laper) of Marshall; his children, Matthew Madetzke of Sioux Falls, SD, Sarah Floerke (Jonathon) of Phoenix, AZ, John Madetzke of Sioux Falls, SD, Karl Madetzke (Paula) of Bloomington, IN and Laura Cole (Jeremy) of Lake Crystal; his grandchildren, Acacia, Brayden Floerke and Maria Cole; his siblings, Lorna Muchow of Sioux Falls, SD, Marilyn Robertson (Jim) of Sioux Falls, SD, Janet Natwick of Sioux Falls, SD, Willis "Bill" Madetzke of Jasper, Louis "Lee" Madetzke (Diane) of Bloomington and Roger Madetzke (Pat) of Pipestone; his siblings-in-law, Lorie Judson (Jeff) of Pasedena, CA, Jenny Laper of Graton, CA, Priscilla Vilhauer of Sierra Vista, AZ, Bonita Sullivan of Madison, WI, Victoria Clemann (Doug) of Eau Claire, WI and Nicholas Laper (Kerry) of Ukraine; and his aunt Alice Dunn of Redfield, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
