She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rue and Esther Rue (Korman); her husband Harold Lensing; her children, Dale Lensing and Jan Lensing; her grandsons, Brandon Lucas and Jim Pease; her son-in-law Jim VanKeulen; and her brothers, Darrell and Glen Rue.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Lensing (Lois) of Porter, Mary Lou Lovejoy (Allen) of Mounds View, Lois VanKeulen of Marshall, Bob Lensing (Mary) of Balaton, Dean Lensing of Bloomington, Jo Lensing of Cold Spring, Vicki VanDamme (Jim) of Russell, Julie Parulski (Bob Przymus) of Ivanhoe and Mark Lensing (Nancy) of St. James; and her brother Dennis Rue (Pat). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (701 Jewett St, Marshall, MN 56258). Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (501 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the St. Dionysius Catholic Cemetery (1540 Co Rd 8, Tyler, MN 56178).
