He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nuy and Annie Nuy (Van Damme); his brother John Nuy; his nephew Dean Collins; and his sister-in-law Val Nuy.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hoseck of Marshall; his sons, Greg Nuy (Cindy) of Canby and Richard Nuy (Gloria) of Ivanhoe; his siblings, Kathy Collins (Don) of Willmar, Tom Nuy of Marshall, Mike Nuy (Shannon) of Mankato and Mary Lou Wilste (John) of Riverdale, ND; and his sister-in-law Sandy Nuy. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
