He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Schoephoerster and Nina Schoephoerster (Steen); and his siblings, Robert Schoephoerster, Dennis Schoephoerster (Donna) and Ruth Schoephoerster.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Schoephoerster of Marshall; his sons, Rick Schoephoerster (Cathy) of Marshall and Ron Schoephoerster (Betty) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Christina Lonien (Kevin) of Marshall, Emily Schoephoerster of Monticello, Kalin Schoephoerster (Paige Fuller) of Maplewood, Alex Schoephoerster (Brittney) of St. Cloud, Ethan Schoephoerster of St. Cloud and Madison Schoephoerster of Westminster, CO; his great grandchildren, Liliana and Lincoln; and his sister-in-law Marlene Schoephoerster of Brooklyn Center. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall.
