She was predeceased by: her parents, Niels Nielsen and Myrtle Nielsen (Larson); her husband Norwood "Johnny" Johnson; her grandson Matt Oemichen; and her siblings, Lucille Eide and Darwin "Buzz" Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Connan "Con" Johnson (Nancy Jamnick) of Virginia, Cheryl Friedrichs (Daryle) of Marshall and Marcia Oemichen of Eden Prairie; and her grandchildren, Tamara Colgan (Dave) of Ghent, Thomas Johnson (Laura) of Clinton, Terri Schu (Ed) of Maple Grove, Dawn Friedrichs of Marshall, Daryl Todd Friedrichs of Minneota, Chad Friedrichs (Melissa) of Minneota and Megan Whichello (Chris) of Maple Grove. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
