She was predeceased by: her parents, Valere Vandendriessche and Bertha Vandendriessche (Gesquiere); her uncle Albert Gesquiere; her aunts, Martha Gesquiere and Leona Gesquiere; her parents-in-law, Donald and Ella Moat; and her brother-in-law Stephen Swanson.

She is survived by: her husband Keith Moat of Marshall; her children, Scott Moat (Jan) of Marshall and Tanya Moat of Marshall; her grandchildren, Andrew Moat (Sofiya Silchuk) of Harrisburg, SD, Aaron Moat of Sioux Falls, SD and Alexis Moat of Grand Forks, ND; and her sister Marlene Baumgard (Terry) of Ruthton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
