He is survived by: his wife Blanche Filter of Minneota; his children, Bonita Meyer (Mark) of Alexandria, Lawrence Filter (Michelle) of Fulda, Lee Ann Buysse (Tony Theisen) of Marshall, Douglas Filter (Kemper Albert) of St. Louis Park and Hope Christianson (Jesse) of Ghent; his grandchildren, Jonathan Filter, Joey Filter, Steven St (Jenny), Travis St (Amy), Jamie Hurley, Ryan St (Sheena), Hilary Buchert (Wade), Andrea Babcock (Corey), Corey Danderrand (Mandy), Nathanial Filter (Audrey), Ashley Madrigal, Jalen Madrigal (Lee Washington), Phillip Madrigal, Angie Maggsruckes (Eric), Chelsey Madrigal, Joshua Buysse (Kelli), Melissa DeBaere (Kevin), Heather Werpy (Walker), Ashley Vierk (Byron), Aubrie Bendtsen (Timmy), Caitlyn Martin (Scott), Samuel Albert, Desirae Filter (Zach Bump) and Marissa Christianson; and his siblings, Alice Trebesch of Springfield, Charles "Chuck" Filter of Tracy and Delores Fredericks of Tracy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
