She is survived by: her husband Sales Enterprises; her children, L. Edward Egly of Ramsey, Richard A. Egly, Noella M. Egly of Ft. Collins, CO and Darrell D. Egly (Gwen) of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Corrine Knettle (Greg), Nicole Olson (Mark), Amanda Gladitsch, Joshua Michener, Matthew Minnick, Nicholas Egly and Julia Egly; and her sister Dorothy Romey of Payson, AZ. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

“Ed, Rich, Noella, Darrell, and families, I want you to know how much I loved your mother. (my cousin). I didn't know her well until I was a young adult. When I was a sophomore at NSU, we welcomed a new baby. Karen graciously and lovingly took care of him while my husband and I continued to attend classes that year. I will always remember her generosity, the sparkle in her eyes, her contagious smile and laugh, her strength, faith, and bold spirit. She has blessed so many lives!”
