He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyriel DeVos and Lena DeVos (Boerjan); his wife Fran DeVos; his parents-in-law, Anton and Clara Kopitski; his siblings, Leonard DeVos, Rosie Kopitski (Tony), Jim DeVos and Mary Ann Thooft (Jules); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Dwire, Al Polman, Jim Varpness, JoAnn Kremin (Harlan) and Laurie Bach (Ed).
He is survived by: his son Mike DeVos (Malinda Searcy) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Jessica Guetter (Jordan) of Marshall, Spenser Christensen (Jenn Buchholz) of Fulda and Chancey DeVos of Marshall; his great grandchildren, Gage Guetter and Grady Guetter; his brother Charlie "Chuck" DeVos (Patty) of Carver; and his sisters-in-law, Barb DeVos of Marshall, Pat Dwire of Marshall, Irene Polman of Hutchinson and Roseann Varpness of Marshall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
