It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Byron Doyle of Marshall, Minnesota, born in Bellingham, Minnesota, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byron and Clara Sophia Doyle (Harwick); his son Sean-David Byron Doyle; and his sisters, Patricia "Patti" Lundborg and Karen Lovestrand.
He is survived by: his wife Bonny Doyle of Marshall; his daughter Karlyn Doyle (Tom Warnemunde) of St. Joseph; his daughter-in-law Angela Doyle of Walnut Grove; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Kleeberger (Adam), Jared Doyle (Lexie Vande Hoef), Jasmine Doyle (Colton Crowell) and Jacob Doyle; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Layla and Levi Kleeberger; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Lundborg (Char) and James Lovestrand. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Over the years, John also donated his time and talents as a 4-H leader and to the Jaycees, the Masons, Order of the Eastern Star, Sons of Norway, Marshall's City Planning and Zoning Committee, Marshall City Council, the board of Advanced Opportunities, and he was past president of the Lyon County Historical Society.
