It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Abel of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Liala (Aune) and George Abel, Sr.; his wife Bette Jane DeAustin; his children, Alyssia Coudron (Andy) and Jameson Abel (Breanna); his aunt Barb Verkinderen; his siblings, Shirley Quail, Cindy Jolstad, George Abel Jr., Steve Abel (Vickie) and David Abel (Jackie); his siblings-in-law, Brenda Ebbitt, Brad DeAustin (Ellen), Barre DeAustin (Nancy), Ordell Quail, LeRoy Jolstad, Brian VanOverbeke and Barb Abel; his nephew Troy Quail; and his uncles, Lawrence Verkinderen and Oli Aune. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name can be made to Prairie Home Hospice (408 E Main St Suite 8 Marshall, MN 56258.) Meeting him in heaven are his parents; brothers-in-law, Ordell Quail, LeRoy Jolstad, Brian VanOverbeke; sister-in-law, Barb Abel; nephew, Troy Quail; uncles, Lawrence Verkinderen, Oli Aune; and a whole pack of beloved dogs and cats.
