It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey H. Desmet of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William DeSmet and Margaret DeSmet (DeSutter); his husband Jack Burk; his sisters, Juliana DeSmet, Deanna Archer and Pauline "Sara" Winters; his brother-in-law Mike Paul; and his nieces, Licole Opdahl and Shannon DeSmet.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry (Pam) of Sioux Falls, Ben (Anne) of Blaine, Ron (Brenda) of Silver Springs, Jerry (Mary) of Lake Hendricks, Susie Paul of St. Peter, Margie Dahl (Butch) of Marshall and Joan Hennen (Vincent) of Alexandria, Minnesota.; and his godchildren, Sara Larson of Balaton, Kayla Vichich of Alexandria and Aaron DeSmet of Long Beach, California. He is also survived by twenty-seven nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
