Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Uphoff of Marshall, Minnesota, born in Appleton, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 78, on December 5, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Uphoff and Gertrude Uphoff (Gallow); and his siblings, Russell "Buster" Uphoff, Robert Uphoff and Connie Hinneberg.

He is survived by: his wife Andrea Uphoff of Marshall; his children, JoEtte Swan (Michael) of Marshall and Kyle Uphoff (Wes Miyazaki) of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; his grandchildren, Katy Swan of Hopkins, Jordan Swan of St. Paul and Rachel Swan (Blake Jouwstra) of Minnetonka; and his siblings, Ruth Sorenson of Hopkins and Bruce Uphoff of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A public visitation is pending and will be announced once pandemic restrictions ease.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
