He was predeceased by: his parents, Camiel Louwagie and Magdeline Louwagie (Polman); his parents-in-law, Philip and Cora Hirmer; his siblings, Helen Vroman and Ernest Louwagie; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Louwagie and Mike Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Louwagie of Marshall; his children, Ken Louwagie (Denise) of Garvin, Jim Louwagie (Barb), Cheryl Bangasser (Craig) of Garvin, Michele Vermeire (Kim) of Marshall and Craig Louwagie (Heidi Boerboom) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Adam Louwagie (Victoria), Darin Louwagie (Meg), Todd Louwagie (CeCe), Amanda Harris (Dusty), Brittany Louwagie, Anthony Fratzke (Kelsey), Ashley Louwagie, Briana Morgan, Cody Morgan (Jordan), Cassie Morgan, Nick Vermeire (Leah), McKenzie Vermeire, Kylie Vermeire, Morgan Louwagie, Maci Pomranke (Josh) and Marissa Louwagie; his siblings, Bernice Fischer (Charles) of Marshall, Darlene Weber (Jim Lindquist) of Arizona and Shirley Schultz (Rick Perry) of Florida; and his brother-in-law Dick Vroman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Occupancy limits and social distancing must be observed throughout all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall or to donor's choice.
