She was predeceased by: her parents, H. B. "Ben" Spong and Ethel Spong (Miller); her husband Francis "Fritz" Hoffbeck; her son Jerry Hoffbeck; and her sisters, Arlene Pochardt, Helen Kruckenberg and Esther Schneider.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Forsberg of Marshall, Lynne Zick (Dave) of Milroy and Cheri Christensen (Chris) of Buffalo; her daughter-in-law Sandy Hoffbeck of Marshall; her grandchildren, Jodi Fadness of Truman, Todd Hoffbeck (Teri) of North Branch, James Robert Havens of Chino Hills, CA, Troy Gilb of Aurora, IL, Kelly Kontz (Steve) of Bennington, NE, Ryan Zick (Jen) of Chaska, Scott Zick (Becky) of Milroy, Erik Christensen (Kathi) of Seattle, WA and Lisa Christensen (Greg Trochman) of Buffalo; and her siblings-in-law, Floyd Hoffbeck of Redwood Falls and Ardith Hoffbeck of Tracy. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren.
