It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangeline Simonsen (Marshall, Minnesota), born in Heron Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hornickel and Dora Hornickel (Wagner); her husband Dale Hoffmeister; her son Michael; and her husband Clarence Simonsen.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Turner (Bill) of Sedalia; her grandsons, Andrew Turner (Bethany) and Nicholas Turner; and her great grandchildren, Charlie and Graham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
