He is survived by: his parents, Loren Lavoie of Fargo, ND and Gloria Lavoie (Christensen) of Green Valley; his wife Daeshia Lavoie of Willmar; his children, Liam Lavoie of Willmar, Payton Lavoie of Willmar and Weston Lavoie of Willmar; his mother-in-law Mary Sundin of Willmar; his brother Preston Lavoie (Olivia) of Milroy; his niece Margaret; his brother-in-law Dayton Sundin (Mandy) of Willmar; his nephew Mathew; and his niece Dixie. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends.
