Diane Elizabeth Wartner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 77, Diane Elizabeth Wartner of Marshall, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ohl and Lucille Ohl (Hansen); her husband Valgene "Val" Wartner; her brother Allen Ohl; her parents-in-law, Virgil and Mildred Wartner; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Wartner and Doug Venekamp.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Wartner (Becky) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff Wartner (MaryJo) of Milroy and Michelle Miller (Shaun) of Worthington; her grandchildren, Kayla, Bailey, Brandon, Mackenzie, Shaelyn, Brett and Jolsie; her great grandchild Oliver; her sisters, Carolyn Venekamp of Brookings, SD and Cynthia Venekamp (Mike) of Sioux Falls; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Wartner and Wayne Wartner (Marlene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (800 E Southview Ct, Marshall, MN 56258). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hope Cemetery (Minneapolis, MN).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall.
