Catherine Verkinderen Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Doom and Marie Doom (VanMoer); her husband Joe; her siblings, Elaine Hennen, Sharon Zender and Billy Doom; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Verkinderen, Jane Hennen, Charlotte Cattoor, Greg Goblirsch, Conrad Hennen and Daniel Verkinderen.

She is survived by: her children, Carole Verkinderen (Tim Olson), Lisa Ziemann (Jay), Steven Verkinderen (Pat) and David Verkinderen (Krista); her grandchildren, Daniel Ziemann (Kate), Sarah Ziemann, Hannah and Lily Verkinderen; her great grandchild Finley Ziemann; her sister Maurine Goblirsch; and her siblings-in-law, Diane Doom, Ernie Hennen, Jim Cattoor and Mike Zender. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (503 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258).
