It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Joyce Lathrop of Marshall, Minnesota, born in Lake Benton, Minnesota, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Thomsen and Mamie Thomsen; her former husband Archie Lathrop (Bud); her husband Harvey Haugen; her son Marvin Lathrop; her grandchildren, Rebecca Joyce and Stevie; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Jude; and her siblings, Arnold Thomsen, Mavis Newell and Sylvia Dahl Nielsen.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Lathrop (Jo) and Tom Lathrop (Cheryl); her daughter-in-law Claire Lathrop; her grandchildren, Ben, Carmen, Jozeca, Lee, Courtney, Kelli, Stacy and Matthew; and her sister-in-law Merna Thomsen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In November, Bev was diagnosed with COVID-19, and within two weeks of her diagnosis, she passed from this world into the next, where she joined her Savior, Jesus.
