It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Labat of Marshall, Minnesota, born in Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Melander and Blanche Melander; her sister Susan; her husband Ron Labat; her son Joel Eric; and her grandson Dylan Vaughn.
Barb gracefully dealt with Parkinson's for five years prior to a fall on a cement patio at home on May 3, 2020, resulting in a broken elbow and a serious head injury.
