She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde O'Toole and Alice O'Toole (Kingsborough); her husband Donald Maertens; her siblings, Clifford O'Toole and Doris Lewandowski; and her granddaughter Dawn Bendix.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Hest (Russ) of Casselton, ND, Tom Maertens (Char) of Milford, IA, Dean Maertens (Dawn) of Morton, Brian Maertens (Karen) of Wabasso, Janet Bendix (Pete) of Sioux Falls, SD and Sharon Johnson (Wade) of Moorhead; and her sister Loretta Haper of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
