He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Boerner and Mamie Boerner; and his sons, Jeffrey and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Lynn Davis (Charles), Kristin, Richard McFarland, Sharon Karsten (Paul) and Sandra McFarland; and his grandchildren, Christopher Fien (Angie), Brett Uchanski (Nicole), Rebecca Uchanski and Daniel McFarland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
