He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor, Sr. Huju and Ilona Elizabeth Huju (Saari); his wife Ellen Lorraine Lyytinen; his son Mark Leo Huju; his grandson Joshua Huju; his daughter-in-law SusAnn Huju; his stepmother Mildred Huju (Forsythe); his siblings, Victor (Wanda Huju), John Huju, Elsie (Donald Anderson), Irja (Robert Christie) and Irene "Honey" (Wilho Lyytinen); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Kovanen, Walter Lyytinen, Reino Lyytinen, Aili (Elmer Jantti), Elsie (Eddie Erickson) and Sylvia (Milton Tippary).
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Korte (Dennis), Brian Huju (Anita), Lori Wencl (Danny), Kathy Fairbanks (Alfred), Jeff Huju (Teresa), Doug Huju and Todd Huju (Roberta); his sister Aileen Kovanen; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Huju, Sandra Lyytinen and Pat Lyytinen. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren plus spouses, 59 great grandchildren plus spouses, and 9 great great grandchildren.
A donation, in his honor, will be made to Essentia Hospice.
