He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Olsen and Ingeborg Olsen; and his siblings, Mabel Bjostad, Ed Olson and Ingrid Rau.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Imsdahl Olsen; his children, Thomas Olsen (Jeneal), Sally Peters (Barry) and Kristin Olsen (Don); his grandchildren, Kathryn Retka (Josh), Sara Hjelmeland (Kris), Eric Olsen (Katie), Andy Peters (Kim) and Kristin Spencer (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Myah, Elsa, Molly, Anika, Simon, Hannah, Bjorn, Lucy and Soren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid concerns, a private family service is planned to celebrate the life of Roger.
