He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grefe and Alma Grefe; his wife Aeriel Grefe; and his brother Marvin. He is survived by: his brother Lawrence Grefe (Eva); his son David Grefe (Lovella Rempel); his grandson Andrew Rempel; his daughter Katharine Vens; his grandchildren, Michael Bokota and Jennifer Peck (David); and his great grandchildren, Kenneth, Christian, Delenn and Ryker.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association.
