Janet Ruth Hess Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2020, Janet Ruth Hess in Maplewood, Minnesota, born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Layton and Ruth Layton (McCallister); her brothers, Curtis and Richard Layton; and her grandsons, Tyler Horrisberger and Peter Leonard.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Dick" Hess; her son Mark Hess (Dee); her grandchildren, Ann Horrisberger, Patty Hess, Mary Beth Engst, Nicole Trost, Ryan, Katie Horrisberger and Molly Henry; her sister Carolyn Jones (Don); and also David Layton (Claire). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing measures, we are unable to have a public celebration of life.
