He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony and Delores; his brothers, Bill and Gordy; and his son Tony.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his siblings, Carol and Joe (Denise); his sister-in-law Marge; and his nieces and nephews, Kim (Al), Patty (John), Brett (Patty), Christy (Ron), Mike and Michelle (Kurt). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Lutheran Church (1194 County Rd C E, St Paul, MN 55109). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
