She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Hakseth and John Hakseth; her son Bruce; her husband Leonard Oakes; and her siblings, Owen Hakseth (Chuck), Helen Rivard (Sue), Shirley Kaupp and Larene Hakseth.
She is survived by: her son Terry (Rose); her close friend Joe Keenan; her siblings, Ivan Hakseth and Myrna Sirotiak; her grandchildren, Jessie, Jennifer and Ben Hamrick; her great grandchild Ashton; and also Diana Hamrick.
