He is survived by: his wife Jean E. Franta; his son Mark (Patricia Schlief); his grandson Will Franta of Minneapolis; his daughter MaryAnn Moenck (Jim) of Dresser, WI; his stepgrandchildren, James and Joe Moenck (Julie); his sister Barbara Marrone of Los Gatos, CA; and his daughter-in-law Laura Franta of Lake Hallie, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
