He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley; his parents, Emil and Madge; and his siblings, Ken, Jerry and Joanne.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his daughter Cathy (Mike); his grandsons, Luke (Renee) and Scott (Sarah); and his sister Ruth. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
