Dean P. Hoechst Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dean P. Hoechst (Mapleton, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Hoechst and Bernita Hoechst (Kunz); his wife Lois Pieper; and his siblings-in-law, James Pieper, Steve Sharits and Deanna Hoechst.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Hengel (John) of Minnesota Lake and Chad Hoechst (Shannon) of Minnesota Lake; his grandchildren, Erica Manska (Logan), Josh Hengel, Breckin Hoechst and Delaney Hoechst; his great grandchildren, Rory and Emmy Manska; his siblings, Dale Hoechst (Linda), Duane Hoechst and Diane Sharits; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Rauenhorst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hosanna Lutheran Church (105 Hosanna Dr, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
